Mrs. Obama to You.

If you haven't received your March 2009 issue of Vogue, Michelle Obama has graced the cover of this issue with such ease. Interview by Andre Leon Talley whom is the editor at large with Vogue, they discuss about Mrs. Obamas fashion sense as well as her transition into the White House. As much as the Obamas enforce humility I would have much rather appreciated a more classic photo shoot, maybe more of a day in the life kind of feel. As busy as she is with being hands on in her children s life as well as the her husbands we could have gotten a bit more. None the less she looked effortless wearing her beloved J.crew (which is my place of work),and has become a staple for all J.crew shoppers.

Young, Fresh, & New.

I had to post this because the saying never dies, "no dream is ever too high". New addition to the Elite Modeling agency Deaondra Forrest has been a new breath of fresh air. This soft spoken sweetheart who I am proud to say I know personally has been aspiring her dream to be model. She is 19 years young, African-American and has achieved what many attempt. I hope to see much more of her in the fashion industry because she truly deserves it. Good Luck Lady

Gentlemen prefer Shoes.

Location: SUNY Old Westbury Long Island NY

Not many are familiar with the look "Rockabilly" but i would describe it as a cross between James Dean and Vintage Rock. When i saw these shoes that is all that came to mind. I adored how this student dressed down such as jazzy shoe, avoiding a very costumeish appearance. But if you are into that Rockabilly look, these shoes should be right up your alley.

The Best things come in small Packages.

I have been trailing this young woman's fashion sense since my first issue of teen vogue in the 9th grade. Zoe Kravitz is a pint size beauty who's keen fashion sense has been somewhat over looked. Time and time again we see the Olsen Twins, Kate Moss, and Mischa Barton, but what about ZOE! Her main look could be described as somewhat of a new aged hippie, but vast wardrobe transcends that. She can dabble into almost anything, I just wish we can see so much more of her. But can we expect anything less from the cross of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz.

High Steppers.

The Brazilians are Finished!

Every year there are the select few models that rise above the rest. This year diversity is the name of the game. Often the Brazilians take the trophy for the epitome of beauty, but watch out for these world wide beauties that you should all look out for in your next magazine subscription.

I missed the Grammy's because I can't multitask, catching up on school work and watching T.V. simultaneously doesn't add up for me. But the next morning she seemed to be the belle of the ball. Some may have found her performing 9 months pregnant distasteful but I say she did the damn thing, while still keeping her fun look.

Talk about bringing the 70's back. I loved the contract between simplicity and glamor with this students look. The 70's is an era that I have continued to fall in love with. The fine tailoring, exaggerated glamor and volume have always made dressing fun along with given women a great deal of simple sex-appeal.
